| Thu Sep 17, 2009 White Style Gold Setting Identified at River Property | |
| Anglo Canadian Uranium Corp. (TSX-V: URA) is pleased to announce that preliminary exploration and research efforts on the River Property in the White River-Dawson District have been completed. This phase one reconnaissance of the property and associated research has resulted in the River property identified as a potential target for a White style gold deposit. It is anticipated that phase two program at the site which will comprise of detailed prospecting, geological mapping and soil sampling will serve to identify potential drill targets. The River Property is located approximently 30km to the NE of the Underworld Resources Inc. White Gold discovery, and is located across a river from the property boundary. Anglo Canadian's River Property also lies within the Tintina Gold belt. Len Harris, President and CEO noted that "Our initial efforts on the River Property have identified that the property is in the White style geological setting comparable to Underworld Resources property area. Previous mapping efforts indicated the presence of carbonate-altered ultramafic rocks in this region and these sequences are thought to be comparable to hanging wall rocks in the White style gold setting." Harris added that, "it is our intention to conduct detailed mapping to identify potential anomalies and see if any of the area is mineralized. In addition, the southeastern portion of the property also contains a gold-arsenic geochemical anomaly identified through regional geochemical surveys conducted by the Yukon Geological Survey that also requires further investigation." The Qualified Person for current research efforts and future project efforts will be Kevin Brewer, a registered professional geoscientist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
